We are delighted to welcome Khadijah M. Silver as RAP’s new Executive Director. Khadijah comes to us with extensive experience in the non-profit and social justice arena. She has spent the most recent years as a legal and business reporter and has had a successful career in both journalism and non-profit management. Khadijah founded and directed her own organization, BetterBio, and has held a number of organizational leadership positions over the past 10 years. She holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank our founder, Brooke Richie-Babbage, for her years of passion, vision and leadership. Brooke is leaving RAP a strong and stable organization, and we are very happy that she will be staying on in an advisory capacity through the spring! In addition to helping guide the transition process, Brooke will also be working on policy briefs as she passes the thought leadership mantle to Khadijah. We will miss her daily presence at RAP greatly, and we look forward to following her next chapter!
Khadijah will be introducing herself shortly but I can tell you she is very open and receptive to all of your insights about RAP — I encourage you to contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org to extend a warm welcome and share your thoughts on its past, present and future.
