Sarah and Azza have made tremendous contributions to RAP over the course of their eight-month internships. They paved the way for RAP to integrate youth voice into our staff, and served as Youth Advisory Council liaisons. Together with their peers on the Youth Advisory Council they organized the Solutions Not Suspensions forum and are coordinating the Instagram campaign. Their energy and enthusiasm have inspired all of us! As RAP’s first-ever high school interns, they truly embody RAP’s mission of youth leading and serving as agents of change in their lives and communities. We will miss them, and wish them the best as they both enter NYU in the fall! We can’t wait to see the impact they continue to have on their communities!
