Advocacy Trainings and Technical Assistance

The Resilience Advocacy Project provides trainings for youth and family service providers, child care providers, social workers, advocates and other individuals who work with low-income families and youth. Trainings are designed to help youth workers understand the rights of low-income youth, and to use informal advocacy strategies to help youth access supportive resources.

Trainings cover a full range of issues that impact low-income children and youth, and are appropriate for individuals with little or no background in youth law or policy. Participants receive a comprehensive training guide, as well as concrete advocacy tools such as model agency letters, policy directives, and advocacy check-lists.
