Youth LEAP

Youth LEAP is RAP’s innovative and exciting youth leadership and peer advocacy program.

Youth LEAP partners with organizations and institutions throughout the City to engage a diverse group of teens to learn to become advocates for other teens in their communities. The teens work together to build andĀ  sustain a youth-led network of advocacy resource desks in the City’s poorest communities. Youth LEAPers educate other youth about their legal rights, train other youth to become effective self-advocates in their lives and communities, and work together to eradicate the entrenched conditions that perpetuate cycles of poverty in their communities.
