Volunteer Opportunities

RAP welcomes bright, energetic individuals who want to make a positive impact in the lives of New York’s children and youth. We provide two types of volunteer opportunities:

Become a Youth Advocate!

Youth Advocates – trained law students and social work graduate students -  provide comprehensive legal rights education, social service referrals, and concrete advocacy assistance for youth on a wide range of civil legal issues that impact their lives.

Conduct Cutting Edge Legal and Policy Research!

RAP is always looking for volunteers to help us with discrete legal and policy research projects. Volunteers help with grassroots community-based research in our target communities, as well as with legal and policy research for hearing testimony, policy briefs and legal memorandum on child and youth law issues.

To become a volunteer, or for more information, email info@resiliencelaw.org or call 212-204-6666.
